The "Collective Exhibition of Macau Artists" was held in 1984, aimed at discovering local outstanding artists and works and establishing a showcase for the local painting and calligraphy art. Over the past 30 years, the exhibition has attracted many senior and new artists to participate actively, and played an important role in the inheritance and development of calligraphy and painting art. This catalogue introduces the 80 award-winning and selected works of the 2019 "Collective Exhibition of Macao Artists".

This book is published in Chinese, Portuguese and English. The image depicts Western Xia on the Silk Road. Western Xia was founded in 1038 AD, and lies along the Eastern belt of the Hexi Corridor. In its heyday, the area spanned the entire Ningxia Autonomous Region, some part of province of Gansu, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Shaanxi, there is one way of speaking, “East to Yellow River, West to Yumen, South to Xiaoguan and North to desert”. In the early period, Western Xia was compared to the Northern Song Dynasty and the Liao Dynasty, and later confronted with the Southern Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty, which lasted 190 years and passed through ten emperors. Even later, the splendid culture of Western Xia disappeared together, but as of the 20th Century, and with the emergence of documents and relics, understanding of the Western Xia People has emerged as a valuable treasure.

There are two columns in Issue no. 59: "Heritage" and "Chinese Export Art", featuring interesting context with well-illustrated pictures.

(This book was published in Chinese) This book contains several materials for the study of Macao's literature published in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and selected over thirty articles representing Macao's literature, with contents ranging from literary phenomena, textual analysis, stylistics interpretation and trends of thought. This book clearly outlines and vividly shows both the flow and trajectory of literary dissemination from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. This work offers innovative perspectives and considerations about the appreciation of Macao's literary image and the dialogue witnessed in Chinese literature.

As part of the joyous celebration of the 20th anniversary of Macao’s return to the Motherland, the Archives of Macao publishes a selection of over one hundred records from the collection of the Committee for Celebration Activities from All Sectors for the Return of Macao to the People’s Republic of China (CDSMP) to share important moments and milestones of the reunification and revive a collective memory that has been cherished for long.
